Your BMA of Texas Missions had two stand out events this month.
We have the blessing of supporting Todd West, your Pastor Connections Coordinator with the BMA of Texas. He put together a pastors conference hosted by Round Prairie, Fairfield. It was a blessing to me and everyone who attended. The Lord really worked on my heart. I thank each preacher and musician that were part of it. Thank you Bro.Chris and Round Prairie family for the warm hospitality. When it comes back around next year, you want to be there.

For the second year in a row, the Liberty Association hosted a mission rally for Texas Missions. On a Saturday morning, they highlighting four Texas missionaries per year. They cover the missionaries’ travel and lodging expenses. Each of these missionaries share their work and the Word. The service ends with lunch. While this is happening. the ladies love on the missionaries’ wives with gifts, crafts and a program. The association splits the offering with the four missionaries present. Because of this rally, the Liberty Association is getting to know it’s missionaries and the missionaries are getting to know the churches. Are there any others who would like to host such a rally? We would be glad to!

100 New Churches/10 years
- That we see an aggressive multiplication movement of churches who make disciples, equip and release leaders, and start churches for the glory of God and the advancement of his Kingdom Mission
- That each new mission begin with a plan to begin three new churches in their first 10 years
- That pastors and churches of the association be encouraged and equipped to start new churches
- That we connect, evaluate, identify and train new prospective church planters
A word from your missionaries
Cesar Leal – New Mission in San Antonio
The winter weather brought us some difficulties of mobility and contact with people, however we are very optimistic to start a new season where we are already seeing changes in mobility and contacts of parishioners, making expectations very interesting for the coming months. I believe the best times are yet to come, praise the Lord!
Prayer Needs:
Please pray for the church of San Antonio and its meeting place. We are working on some projects for this year.
Haitao He – Corpus Christi Mission
People who are struggling in their lives need a good support system and the church can be a big part of it, with more support especially spiritually and emotionally they will succeed!
Prayer Needs:
Pray that we can be a caring and loving witness to the internationals we encounter here in Corpus Christi, and pray that they will see us as their support group and join our community.
Isaias Martinez – Conroe Mission
Many thanks to the churches of the BMA for having us as part of this great family and for preparing us in the multiplication workshops to be more effective in our work.
Prayer Needs:
Pray for four men who have accepted Christ and are in discipleship.
Chris Driver – West Texas Multiplication Network/Texas Missionary Care
Howdy from west Texas! Everything continues to go well for us here at Oasis. We’re settling into regular services and our Life Groups are back up and running. I’ve been most excited this month about a new group we started. It’s a young couples group we are calling Table Talk. We have had five to six couples each time and we’ve had amazing conversations around a meal. It has been such a refreshing and productive time! I am loving seeing God move in the lives of these young people! As always, thank you so much for all your support and prayers that have given us this chance to be a part of what God is doing here in West Texas!!

Leadership development
Jaime Henriquez – Fuente De Vida Eterna Mission, Houston
I am pleased to inform you that things are going well here in our church. We are working on carrying out the Great Commission of making disciples, baptizing them and teaching them. The five cell groups continue to do their work. Every week on Wednesday there are five small groups that gather in the city and through them we are reaching souls for the Lord. Young people have their meetings on Fridays and we are discipling one person right now.
Prayer Needs:
Please pray that we can start two new cell groups and that God will call a brother to plant a new church this year.
Fidel Torres – Planting in Denton
We continue to adapt to this great city. Already, we are making better contacts with people. God granted us three more people for His Kingdom.
Prayer Needs:
May God grant us to be healthy so as not to interrupt the steps we have already achieved. May God give us grace with the people He puts in our path. Wisdom with the people we are disciplining.
Kyle Cheatham – Planting in Jarrell
Remember to rely on Christ for the strength to fulfill our calling. As Paul clarifies in Colossians 1:28-29, our work of ministry and disciple making is one where we toil and we struggle, but we are do so with His energy and His power. Grace-enabled effort!
Prayer Needs:
Please pray for our church and me to engage unchurched people even more. Pray for God to raise up or bring in a worship leader. Pray for wisdom on our space as we grow.
Jose Torres – Tyler Hispanic Mission
It is a blessing to be in co-mission with BMA Churches!
Prayer Needs:
Please pray for our children, Diego and Sofia, as they make decisions regarding their future, specifically their education. Pray that God may develop our church plant leaders.
Chris Mindi – Anchor Austin in Leander
Persistent prayer was the key for early church growth in Acts when we read the Bible. God is listening to all our prayers and He will answer in His timing. At Anchor, Austin, our desire is to be known as a church that prays. We are seeing God move in miraculous ways.
Prayer Needs:
Pray for Anchor Austin as we gain momentum, prepare ourselves towards starting worship services in Fall 2023. Even though we have not met with all the BMA churches, the fact that you support the vision of a church plant to see God move Indian Christians here and to see other Indians know Christ and put faith in Him is a great encouragement. Pray for us as leaders of this movement to be full of wisdom and humble in spirit and to continually see God work in and through us.
